about me
I’m Louis Dunne, a cinematographer and photographer based in London, originally from Dublin, Ireland.
My journey started with a point-and-shoot film camera, documenting my teenage years and learning to develop film in my kitchen sink. That curiosity grew into a passion for digital photography and, eventually, filmmaking, leading me to move to London to study the craft and begin to work as a DOP on short films.
With a background in fine art, I approach each frame like a painting — using composition and light to create mood and capturing the intimacy of an unguarded moment of someone. My visual style can go from cinematic realism to bold and stylised, often with the theme of youth culture.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Filmmaking from the London Film Academy and a Certificate in Cinematography from Ballyfermot College of Further Education.
