LOUIS DUNNE

I’m Louis Dunne, a filmmaker and photographer based in London, originally from Dublin, Ireland.
 

With a background in fine art, I approach each frame like a painting — story-telling through colour and lighting. My visual style can go from cinematic realism to bold and stylised.

My journey started with a point-and-shoot film camera, documenting my teenage years and learning to develop film in my kitchen sink. That curiosity grew into a passion for digital photography and, eventually, filmmaking, leading me to move to London to study the craft and begin to work as a DOP on short films

I hold a BA (Hons) in Filmmaking from the London Film Academy and a Certificate in Cinematography from Ballyfermot College of Further Education.
